Porrasturvat (Stair Dismount)
DownloadPorrasturvat (Stair-Dismount) is one of a series of "Dismount" games by TAAT, where the goal is to make a "ragdoll" type character fall down a set of stairs, inflicting as much damage as possible to all its body parts. Points are scored based on the amount of damage you inflict on the character.
There is actually a background story to the game. The main character's name is Spectro, and he is a superhero (albeit not a very good one). To clear himself of all the damage he has caused the city (and possibly save quite a few dollars off his taxes), he must prove that he has sustained enough injury to himself.
The game is fun to play. There are several points to choose from on the character's body where you can choose to apply force. That force's direction and strength can be adjusted depending on your preferences. There are also multiple camera views, so you don't miss any of the action.
The physics in this game are very good. The game is old, but it does not look dated; the graphics are in 3D, and are good enough no to detract from the experience. Also, when this came out it was one of the first few games to use ragdoll physics.
The sounds in the game are also good. There is a looping music track in the background, which adds to the game theme. The character can be heard making noises when it takes damage. All in all, the sound effects of the game are well done.
Overall, this is a great game. I suggest you download it now to try it out. The variety in the ways you can hurt the character in the game (as mean as that sounds) will keep you playing it for days, or even months.
